It receives electrical signals from the Engine Control Unit (ECU) and drives the spool to move accurately through the built-in "auto center screw" structure, strictly controlling the flow path and volume of high-pressure engine oil. Based on the engine’s real-time operating conditions (such as speed, load, and cooling water temperature), it precisely distributes oil to the "timing advance" or "timing retard" oil chambers of the camshaft phaser, providing stable and controllable hydraulic power for valve timing adjustment.
2.Dynamic Adjustment of Camshaft Phase
By regulating oil pressure to drive the rotation of the rotor inside the camshaft phaser, it changes the angle of the camshaft relative to the crankshaft, thereby dynamically adjusting the opening/closing timing and overlap angle of the valves. For example: under low-speed and low-load conditions, it advances the intake valve opening time to improve cylinder charging efficiency and enhance low-speed torque; under high-speed and high-load conditions, it retards the intake valve closing time to extend the intake stroke and increase maximum power, achieving a balance between power and efficiency across the entire speed range.

It optimizes valve timing in real time for different engine operation scenarios: during cold starts, it shortens the valve overlap angle to reduce mixture leakage, improving start-up success rate and idle stability; during idle speed, it precisely controls oil flow to reduce VVT system energy consumption, minimizing idle vibration and fuel consumption; during rapid acceleration, it quickly switches oil flow direction to adjust camshaft phase, shortening power response time and avoiding "power lag" issues.

The built-in "auto center screw" fixes the spool’s movement trajectory, avoiding the "offset error" of traditional side-mounted spools caused by high-frequency vibration. The oil flow control precision error can be limited to within ±4% (better than the ±7% error range of ordinary spools). Even under extreme engine conditions such as high speed (above 5500rpm) or low temperature (below -30℃), it can still stably output precise oil pressure, minimizing valve timing adjustment errors and reducing the risk of engine knock and power fluctuations.
2.OEM-Level Compatibility for Worry-Free Installation and Matching
Developed in strict accordance with Hyundai’s original equipment (OE) technical standards, the valve body interface size, center screw thread specification, and electrical signal connector are fully matched to the cylinder head oil passages and ECU signal interfaces of specific Hyundai models (e.g., some Elantra and Sonata models equipped with G4KE/G4KD engines). It can directly replace original parts without additional modification or adjustment, avoiding faults such as oil leakage and abnormal pressure caused by compatibility deviations, and reducing installation and maintenance costs.
3.Optimized Fuel Economy and Emission Performance
Through precise valve timing control, the engine’s fuel combustion efficiency can be improved by 3%–4%: under low-speed conditions, it maintains torque output while reducing fuel injection volume; under high-speed conditions, it optimizes intake efficiency to lower mixture concentration, with a comprehensive fuel consumption reduction of 0.2–0.4L/100km.
