PRODUCT FUNCTIONS

1. Real-Time Oil Pressure Monitoring

The core function of the 0B5 transmission pressure sensor is to monitor the oil pressure in the transmission system in real time. It collects the oil pressure data of key parts of the transmission (such as the clutch cylinder, gear shift cylinder, etc.) at a sampling frequency of up to 100 Hz, and converts the pressure signal into a 0-5V analog electrical signal, which is transmitted to the TCU. The TCU can timely grasp the working state of the transmission system based on the received pressure data.

2. Transmission Shifting Control Assistance

Based on the real-time oil pressure data provided by the 0B5 transmission pressure sensor, the TCU can accurately control the oil pressure of the clutch and gear shift mechanism during the shifting process. For example, during the upshifting or downshifting process, the TCU adjusts the oil pressure supply according to the pressure data fed back by the sensor, so that the clutch can be engaged or disengaged smoothly, and the gear can be shifted accurately. This not only improves the smoothness of shifting but also reduces the wear of the clutch and gear, extending the service life of the transmission.

3. Fault Diagnosis and Early Warning

The 0B5 transmission pressure sensor can also assist the TCU in conducting fault diagnosis of the transmission system. When the oil pressure in the transmission system is too high or too low, or the sensor itself fails, the sensor will send an abnormal signal to the TCU. The TCU will store the fault code according to the abnormal signal and light up the transmission fault warning light on the vehicle dashboard to remind the driver to repair the transmission system in time. This fault diagnosis and early warning function can effectively prevent the occurrence of major transmission faults and reduce the maintenance cost of the vehicle.

APPLICATION
ADVANTAGES

1. High-Precision Pressure Detection

The 0B5 transmission pressure sensor is equipped with an advanced sensing element, which can accurately monitor the oil pressure changes in the transmission system within the range of 0-10 bar. Its measurement error is controlled within ±0.5%, ensuring that the transmission control unit (TCU) can obtain real-time and accurate pressure data. This high-precision performance is crucial for the smooth shifting of the transmission, effectively avoiding problems such as delayed shifting or rough shifting caused by inaccurate pressure detection.

2. Strong Environmental Adaptability

This sensor has excellent resistance to high temperature, oil, and vibration. It can work stably in the high-temperature environment of the transmission (up to 150°C) for a long time without being affected by the high-temperature oxidation of the transmission oil. At the same time, its shell is made of high-quality engineering plastic with good oil resistance, which can prevent the erosion of the transmission oil and ensure the long-term stability of the sensor. In addition, it has passed the strict vibration test (frequency range: 10-2000 Hz, acceleration: 50 m/s²), and can maintain normal working performance even under the condition of severe vehicle vibration.

3.Perfect Vehicle Compatibility

The 0B5 transmission pressure sensor is a professional matching product for Volkswagen and Audi models equipped with 0B5 (DL382) transmissions. It is fully compatible with the original vehicle's electrical system and mechanical structure, without the need for additional modification or adjustment during installation. This perfect compatibility not only simplifies the installation process but also ensures that the sensor can work in harmony with other components of the transmission system, maximizing the performance of the transmission.

4. Long Service Life

With the adoption of high-quality materials and advanced manufacturing processes, the 0B5 transmission pressure sensor has a long service life. The average service life of the sensor can reach more than 150,000 kilometers under normal use conditions. Its internal components are subject to strict quality control, and the connection part of the sensor adopts a sealed design, which can effectively prevent the entry of dust and moisture, further extending the service life of the sensor.
