PRODUCT FUNCTIONS

1. Hydraulic System Central Control for Family CVT

As the "hydraulic command core" of the U661 CVT transmission, the valve body precisely controls the flow direction, pressure, and flow rate of hydraulic oil through 22 sets of precision valves including built-in main pressure valves, steel belt clamping force control valves, and speed ratio adjustment valves, realizing dynamic management of the steel belt drive mechanism and hydraulic torque converter:

Steel belt clamping force control: It adjusts the pulley clamping pressure (8-18MPa) in real time according to the engine torque to ensure non-slip transmission of the steel belt. At the same time, through the "flexible clamping" technology (pressure fluctuation controlled within ±0.5MPa), it reduces wear between the steel belt and pulleys, extending the service life of the CVT drive mechanism (up to more than 250,000km);

Speed ratio adjustment control: After receiving TCU instructions, it completes oil circuit switching within 60 milliseconds. By adjusting the hydraulic oil pressure of the driving/driven pulleys, it realizes stepless speed ratio change (speed ratio range 2.480-0.393), avoiding shifting jitter of traditional AT transmissions and ensuring a smooth driving experience for family vehicles throughout the journey.

2. Scenario-Based Intelligent Speed Ratio Adjustment for Family Use

Combined with the core needs of family vehicles for "fuel saving, smoothness, and practicality", the valve body supports multi-mode dynamic speed ratio strategies to adapt to different usage scenarios:

Eco Mode: It prioritizes maintaining low speed. When the vehicle speed is 80km/h, the speed ratio drops below 0.5, and the engine speed is only 1,800rpm, maximizing fuel consumption reduction, suitable for daily commuting and long-distance high-speed travel;

Normal Mode: It balances power and fuel consumption. When the vehicle speed is 60km/h, the speed ratio is adjusted to 0.65, and the engine speed is 2,000rpm. The speed ratio change rate is increased by 20% during acceleration to avoid insufficient power during full load, suitable for family travel and short-distance shopping.

APPLICATION
ADVANTAGES

Durable Craftsmanship for Family Scenarios, Low Maintenance Cost

Considering that family vehicles often face scenarios such as "high-frequency start-stops in urban congestion, full-load travel with the whole family, annual mileage of 10,000-20,000km, and sensitivity to maintenance costs", the valve body balances "durability" and "low-cost maintenance" in materials and craftsmanship:

Core valve plate: High-strength ADC12 die-cast aluminum alloy (lower cost than valve body materials for high-end vehicles) is used, undergoing T5 heat treatment (solution temperature 520℃ + natural aging) and surface anodizing process (oxide layer thickness 7-9μm). Its hardness is increased to over HV700, which can withstand high-frequency oil pressure impacts of 28MPa. The deformation of the valve body under long-term use is controlled within 0.018mm, effectively resisting oil circuit wear caused by frequent start-stops of family vehicles (main oil circuit wear ≤ 0.009mm per 100,000km);

Internal spool: SUS304 stainless steel base material + polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coating is adopted, reducing the friction coefficient by 38%. The spool movement resistance increases by no more than 18% in a low-temperature environment of -20℃, eliminating cold-start jamming (the cold-start failure rate in northern regions in winter is less than 0.3%);

Sealing components: Hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) specified by Toyota, which is oil-resistant and suitable for high and low temperatures (-30℃~140℃), is selected. The compression set rate is less than 8%, and it is compatible with Toyota CVT-specific oil (such as Toyota CVT Fluid TC). The oil change interval is as long as 80,000km (higher than the industry average), reducing the maintenance frequency and cost for family vehicle owners. According to third-party testing, the service life of this valve body is 40% longer than that of ordinary family vehicle valve bodies, and the mean time between failures (MTBF) reaches more than 2,500 hours, adapting to the demand for "long-term use and low failure" of family vehicles.
