PRODUCT FUNCTIONS

1. Precise Control of Oil Circuit On-Off and Gear Shifting


The solenoid valve receives real-time electrical signals from the Transmission Control Unit (TCU). Once the signal is received, the electromagnetic coil inside the valve generates a magnetic field instantly, which drives the spool to move linearly. This movement directly controls the on-off of the transmission's internal oil circuits, thereby regulating the engagement and disengagement of clutches and brakes in different gear ranges. For example, when the vehicle needs to switch from the D (Drive) gear to the R (Reverse) gear, the TCU sends a specific signal to the UA80 transmission solenoid valve. The valve quickly adjusts the oil circuit connection, enabling the corresponding clutch to engage and the brake to release, ensuring smooth and accurate gear shifting without delay. This control process follows a direct-acting mechanism. When the solenoid valve is de-energized, the built-in return spring pushes the spool back to its original position, restoring the oil circuit to its initial state and ensuring the stability of the transmission's standby mode.


2. Dynamic Linear Regulation of Hydraulic Pressure


One of the prominent functional features of the UA80 transmission solenoid valve is its excellent linear pressure regulation capability. During the operation of the transmission, especially during gear shifting and vehicle acceleration/deceleration, the TCU adjusts the duty cycle of the current input to the solenoid valve's coil in real time. This adjustment changes the magnetic force of the coil, further controlling the opening degree of the spool. By precisely changing the spool's opening, the solenoid valve can accurately adjust the flow rate and pressure of the hydraulic oil in the oil circuit. This dynamic regulation effectively reduces the impact caused by pressure changes during gear shifting. For instance, when the UA80 transmission is shifting at low speeds, the solenoid valve can control the pressure fluctuation within an extremely small range (usually within ±0.2 bar), significantly reducing the 顿挫感 during gear shifting and greatly improving the driving comfort of the vehicle. In addition, during the vehicle's idling and constant-speed driving stages, the solenoid valve also maintains a stable hydraulic pressure output, ensuring the normal operation of the transmission's internal components and reducing unnecessary energy consumption.

This ultra-fast response speed ensures that the gear shifting action of the UA80 transmission can be completed within 0.3 seconds, avoiding the delay of gear shifting and improving the vehicle's power performance and driving smoothness. Even during rapid acceleration or deceleration of the vehicle, the solenoid valve can quickly adjust the oil circuit and pressure according to the TCU's instructions, ensuring that the transmission can keep up with the driver's operating intentions;
