PRODUCT FUNCTIONS

1. Central Control of 6AT Hydraulic System


As the "hydraulic command core" of the 6HP19 transmission, the valve body precisely controls the flow direction, pressure, and flow rate of hydraulic oil through 32 sets of precision valves including built-in main pressure valves, shift valves, and lock-up control valves, realizing dynamic management of the torque converter and planetary gear set:


Torque converter lock-up control: During high-speed cruising (vehicle speed > 75km/h), it controls the lock-up clutch engagement pressure (18-22MPa), with a lock-up rate of over 96%, reducing power loss and improving transmission efficiency (the measured transmission efficiency reaches 92%-94%, leading among 6ATs of the same class);


Planetary gear set control: After receiving the TCU command, it completes oil circuit switching within 60 milliseconds and drives the clutch/brake band to act in coordination (for example, when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear, the time difference between the disengagement of K1 clutch and the engagement of K2 clutch is controlled within 0.08 seconds), realizing "no obvious power interruption" transmission, ensuring smooth transmission of engine power to the wheels, and avoiding jitter caused by shifting deviations.


2. Scenario-Based Intelligent Gear Adjustment


Combined with the usage scenarios of mid-to-high-end vehicles, the valve body supports dual-mode dynamic shifting strategies to meet different needs:


Comfort Mode: Upshifts 180-250rpm in advance (shifts to 5th gear at 60km/h), and the engine operates at a low speed of 1,800-2,300rpm, prioritizing smoothness and fuel economy;


Sport Mode: Delays upshifting by 250-350rpm, maintains the speed in the high-power range of 3,200-5,000rpm, and supports "skip-gear downshifting" during rapid acceleration (such as shifting directly from 6th to 3rd gear at 90km/h) to improve power response;


Manual Mode (M): The response delay is ≤ 70ms, supporting shift paddle operation (such as BMW "steering wheel shift paddles"). It also has gear protection (prohibits upshifting when the speed exceeds 6,500rpm, and prohibits engaging gears above 4th when the vehicle speed is < 7km/h) to avoid overload damage to the planetary gear set (such as gear tooth breakage and planetary carrier deformation).

1. Precise Pressure Control for Medium-to-High Torque, Balancing Power and Smoothness


Targeting the 6HP19 transmission's characteristic of "maximum bearing torque of 400N·m" (adapted to engines such as BMW N52 3.0L, Audi 2.0TFSI, and Volkswagen 3.2L V6), the valve body adopts a combined design of 10 sets of high-precision proportional solenoid valves (PWM control frequency of 180Hz) and three-stage pressure regulating valves. It can real-time capture dynamic parameters such as engine torque, throttle opening, and driving mode (Comfort/Sport), and fine-tune the hydraulic oil pressure with an accuracy of ±0.06MPa. Compared with ordinary valve bodies, the shifting response speed is increased by 28%, and the 2nd-6th gear shifting delay is controlled within 70-190 milliseconds. Through the "pre-charged oil pressure + buffer adjustment" mechanism, it balances sportiness and smoothness — in Sport mode, when shifting from 3rd to 4th gear, it first pre-charges 16-19MPa oil pressure, then linearly increases it at a rate of 0.6MPa/0.1s, avoiding impact while ensuring the continuity of power transmission; in Comfort mode, the oil pressure increase rate is slowed down to 0.4MPa/0.1s to further reduce shifting jitter. Even under conditions of rapid acceleration (throttle opening > 85%) and high-speed overtaking (100-120km/h), it can maintain the texture of "fast shifting + no obvious impact", adapting to the dual needs of mid-to-high-end vehicles for "smooth daily commuting and occasional sporty driving".


2. Multi-Scenario Durable Craftsmanship, Adapting to Usage Characteristics of Mid-to-High-End Vehicles


Considering that mid-to-high-end vehicles often face mixed scenarios such as "high-frequency start-stops in cities, short weekend self-driving trips, and winter driving in low temperatures", the valve body enhances "fatigue resistance", "temperature resistance", and "low maintenance" in materials and craftsmanship:


Core valve plate: High-strength A380 die-cast aluminum alloy is used, undergoing T6 heat treatment (solution temperature 530℃ + artificial aging) and surface anodization (oxide layer thickness 10-12μm). Its hardness is increased to over HV800, which can withstand high-frequency oil pressure impacts of 38MPa. The deformation of the valve body under long-term use is controlled within 0.012mm, effectively resisting wear caused by repeated oil circuit scouring (main oil passage wear ≤ 0.007mm per 100,000km);


Internal spool: SUS430 stainless steel base material + polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coating is adopted, reducing the friction coefficient by 42%. The spool movement resistance increases by no more than 12% in a low-temperature environment of -25℃, eliminating cold-start jamming (the cold-start failure rate in northern regions in winter is less than 0.15%).
