PRODUCT FUNCTIONS

1. Dual-Clutch Independent Control for Seamless Shifting

The DQ200 transmission adopts a dry dual-clutch design (Clutch 1 controls 1st/3rd/5th/7th gears; Clutch 2 controls 2nd/4th/6th gears), and the solenoid valve group (including 6-8 dedicated solenoids) undertakes independent hydraulic control of the two clutches. Unlike wet clutches with abundant oil cooling, dry clutches rely on precise pressure control to avoid overheating—this is where the solenoid valve’s "pre-charging + graded pressure rise" mechanism plays a key role .

When shifting from 1st to 2nd gear (e.g., during urban acceleration from 15 km/h to 30 km/h), the TCU first sends a 10% duty cycle signal to the Clutch 2 solenoid, which pre-fills the clutch oil chamber to 0.2-0.3 MPa (eliminating mechanical clearance) . When shifting is triggered, the Clutch 2 solenoid rapidly increases pressure to 1.5-1.8 MPa (engagement pressure) while the Clutch 1 solenoid reduces pressure to 0.1 MPa or lower. This "overlapping control" ensures the shift is completed within 0.18 seconds, with no power interruption—critical for dry clutches that lack oil buffer . For example, in the Volkswagen Golf 7 equipped with DQ200, this mechanism eliminates the "jerking" common in early dry dual-clutch transmissions during low-speed shifting.

2. Low-Pressure Precision Regulation for Dry Clutch Adaptation

Dry clutches have no oil cooling, so excessive pressure easily causes overheating, while insufficient pressure leads to slipping. The DQ200 solenoid valve adopts linear proportional control with a pressure regulation range of 0.1-2.0 MPa (lower than wet clutches) and an accuracy of ±0.05 MPa . The TCU adjusts the coil current duty cycle (0%-100%) to control the spool opening, matching pressure to driving conditions.

During light load (e.g., 60 km/h constant cruising in 6th gear), the solenoid reduces clutch pressure to 0.8-1.0 MPa, minimizing friction loss between dry clutch plates and reducing fuel consumption by 8%-10% compared to traditional AT transmissions . Under heavy load (e.g., full-load uphill), it increases pressure to 1.8-2.0 MPa to ensure tight engagement without slipping. For cold starts below -25℃, the solenoid maintains 0.6-0.7 MPa for 30 seconds to allow clutch plate pre-warming, avoiding cold friction damage—addressing the dry clutch’s vulnerability to low-temperature wear .

APPLICATION
ADVANTAGES

1. Full Compatibility with Volkswagen Group Dry DCT Platforms

This solenoid valve is the OE component for DQ200/OAM transmissions, widely used in Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, and SEAT models, covering multiple power configurations:

Volkswagen Group Model Adaptation: Fully compatible with Volkswagen Golf, Magotan, Sagitar, Audi A3, Skoda Octavia, and SEAT Leon equipped with DQ200. Its electrical parameters (coil resistance: 9.5±0.3 Ω, operating voltage: 12V DC) and mounting dimensions (flange hole spacing: 22±0.1 mm) match the original valve body, requiring no modification during replacement .

Domestic Joint-Venture Adaptation: As a standard part for FAW-Volkswagen and SAIC-Volkswagen models, it passes Volkswagen’s VDA 235 durability test (10,000-hour high-temperature operation) to ensure consistency with German-sourced components .

Power Matching Flexibility: Adapts to 1.2T (116 HP) to 1.4T (150 HP) engines by adjusting pressure curves. For high-power 1.4T models, the maximum pressure is calibrated to 2.0 MPa; for 1.2T models, it is optimized to 1.7 MPa, avoiding model proliferation .

2. Dry Clutch-Oriented Reliability Design

Low-Oil Adaptation Structure: Unlike wet clutch solenoids, it adopts a step-by-step direct-acting principle , which works reliably at low oil volumes (DQ200’s oil capacity is only 1.7L, 1/3 of wet DCTs). The valve body uses ADC12 aluminum alloy with anti-corrosion treatment, resisting oil oxidation residues common in low-circulation systems .

Anti-Jamming and Anti-Overheating Optimization: The oil inlet integrates an 8 μm precision filter (filtration efficiency ≥99.8%) to block clutch wear debris (dry clutches generate more dust than wet ones) . The spool uses SUS440C stainless steel with DLC coating (friction coefficient 0.04), reducing jamming risks by 60% . In Volkswagen’s 500-hour high-temperature test (120℃), the solenoid maintains stable pressure regulation without coil burnout .

3. Ultra-Fast Response and Energy Efficiency

Millisecond-Level Action Speed: The coil uses 0.20 mm high-purity copper wire with dense winding, generating a magnetic field in 6-9 ms . The titanium alloy spool (40% lighter than steel) completes 3 mm full-stroke movement in 15-18 ms, 20% faster than wet clutch solenoids. This ensures DQ200’s shifting time is controlled within 0.2 seconds, eliminating power gaps .

Low-Power Operation: Fully energized power consumption is only 7-9 W (30% lower than traditional solenoids). During stable cruising, the TCU reduces duty cycle to 30%-40%, cutting power consumption to 2-4 W. For a vehicle traveling 20,000 km/year, this saves 12-15 kWh of electricity, aligning with the DQ200’s energy-saving positioning .
