PRODUCT FUNCTIONS

1.Fluid Control

Its core function is to control the flow of fluids (e.g., fuel, engine oil) or gases. When the electromagnetic coil is energized or de-energized, it generates a magnetic field that pulls the valve core, opening or closing the valve port. This allows or blocks the passage of fluids or gases, realizing the control of fluid flow in GM engine fuel supply systems, lubrication systems, and other related systems.

2.Pressure Regulation

It can work with relevant GM engine systems to regulate fluid pressure. For example, in the fuel system, it controls fuel pressure according to the engine’s requirements under different operating conditions, ensuring that fuel is injected into the engine cylinders at an appropriate pressure. This achieves efficient combustion, improving engine performance and fuel economy.

3.System Protection

Under certain conditions (e.g., when an abnormality such as leakage is detected in the relevant system), the solenoid valve can close quickly to cut off the fluid or gas path. This plays a role in protecting the engine and related systems, preventing the further expansion of faults and ensuring the safe operation of the vehicle.

APPLICATION
ADVANTAGES

1.Rapid Response

The solenoid valve features an ultra-short response time, as low as a few milliseconds; even pilot-operated solenoid valves can respond within dozens of milliseconds. This fast-response characteristic enables it to open or close quickly, meeting the demand for rapid fluid or gas control in systems such as GM engine systems.

2.Low Energy Consumption

With an optimized design, the solenoid valve has low power consumption and is an energy-efficient component. It helps reduce the overall energy consumption of the vehicle, which plays a positive role in improving fuel economy (for internal combustion engine vehicles) or extending the range of electric vehicles. Meanwhile, it also reduces the load on the vehicle’s electrical system.

3.Excellent Leakage Contro

The solenoid valve operates based on electromagnetic force acting on an iron core sealed in a magnetic isolation sleeve. It has no dynamic seals, which can completely prevent external leakage; internal leakage is also easy to control, even reaching zero leakage. This makes it extremely safe when used to transfer corrosive, toxic, or high/low-temperature media, and well-suited for the complex fluid control environment inside GM engines.
